HOPKINS GRAMMAR SCHOOL
Class of 1965
Welcome to the Hopkins Grammar School Class of 1965
The historic name of "Hopkins Grammar School" has given way to "Hopkins School." What we knew as boys' "Forms I to VI" in the British "junior and senior school" tradition has given way to coeducational "Grades 7 through 12" in the conventional American middle and high school format.
But "HGS" it will always be for us, the members of its 305th graduating class. Here we celebrate and share our memories, endurance, and fraternity.
We especially look forward to our 60th reunion in May 2025 after covid did in the 55th. Tempus fugit.
Though it is hopelessly quaint to say so, we were the first Hopkins Class to go online (on February 15, 1997) with a robust web site for Alumni, at the time a pioneering role for which we were well trained, created and maintained by Dick Hutchinson and John Mordes.
This current iteration of the 1965 website has been carefully rebuilt by the Hopkins Advancement and Communications Offices in an effort to archive and preserve the updates, notes and spirit of the HGS Class of 1965, and give the site a permanent new home.
Please browse the site sections, including the Classmates pages (click our yearbook photos below to read more about each classmate), the teacher section, reunion archives and News & Notes to browse our yearbook and 50th Reunion Book, among other things.
